The Flagship Store

Johanna Gullichsen Textile Craft & Design flagship store is located in Helsinki, Finland. In the store you can experience the atmosphere of the brand. The brand is based on collections of woven textiles: the geometric and popular Normandie in cotton and in several distinctive patterns, sophisticated Savoy in linen that grows more sumptuous with use and the earthy Costume National and Papillon in warm mixes of wool and linen. "The ready-made products that I design are defined by the fabric itself; by its material or by its pattern. I also find influences from different cultures interesting and challenging to my work," Johanna explains. All the products as well as the fabrics are designed by Johanna Gullichsen.

Design classics with Johanna Gullichsen fabrics

Some of the great classic designs have the power to inspire over and over again. They seem to have several lives. Here Hardoy Butterfly chair has a cover from Johanna Gullichsen's Normandie collection.

Johanna Gullichsen Kuubi Cushions

Ready-made cushion and seating designs are made for easy living. The stackable Kuubi cushions can be used as seating on the floor or piled up to form an ottoman. The Kuubi cushions in this picture are made from Normandie collection fabrics.
