Fabric Damast Aallot
The white linen warp adds shine and beauty to this fabric, while the coloured cotton yarns contribute practicality and softness. Damask fabrics can be used in various ways, such as for tablecloths and towels.
Aallot, which means “wave,” is part of Johanna Gullichsen’s first industrially woven collection, launched at the Helsinki Handicrafts Association’s gallery in 1989. The Damast collection originally featured five patterns. Aallot and Delft were reintroduced to the collection in the summer of 2025.

Choose a neutral detergent. The maximum temperature is 60°C. Rinse well and spin moderately. Do not use bleach. For best results, please let your linen products drip dry! The tumble dryer may cause unwanted permanent wrinkles and make ironing difficult. Iron with steam, while still damp, at a maximum of 200°C. Mangling without heat will give your linen product a beautiful shine. Linen products will shrink 5-7%.
